| i'm a little obsessed with HDR. it can make a drab shot go from this:
albeit a little overdone, you get the picture (HA! no pun intended.)
p.s. the subject is the Grand Palace in Bangkok, Thailand.

cleaning out my room this week, i found that i have a whole pack of these streamers, unused. they all say "Pacific Bell Park Opening Day April 11th, 2000." i stole them when i went to opening day with my leadership class freshman year of HS; we were commissioned to shoot these streamers on cue from bazooka tubes. i don't even remember how i grabbed a whole pack of unshot ones, but here i am 8 years later holding them. nice piece of history, although they are worthless and i have no use for them.
p.s. go giants
p.p.s. the giants lost the opening game and it was embarrassing.

| so nas's new album came out when i was in japan, and i didn't get a chance to pick it up until i got back last week. i finally popped it in the CD player as i drove the CRV down to UCLA on monday, and it's an amazing album. it's very politically charged and socially concious, which isn't to be unexpected, but the album's message highlighting the prevalence of discrimination and societal perceptions as a whole carries throughout each track. i can say i liked at least 12 of the 15 tracks right off the bat. his track about Fox and Fox News is one of my favs as well as the first track. the whole album's pretty short but well worth the buy.
They say I'm all about murder-murder and kill-kill
But what about Grindhouse and Kill Bill?
What about Cheney and Halliburton? (Halliburton?)
The backdoor deals
On oil fields
How's NaS the most violent person?
Ya'll don't know talent if it hit you
Bringin' up my criminal possession charges with a pistol (pistol)
I use Viacom
As my firearm
And let the lyrics split you
Who do you rely upon? |
